WHAT PEOPLE SAY

Jude Hama, General Director, Scripture Union (Gh)
"GHAFES is the most appropriate community on campus that provides opportunity for one to become more like Christ and better equipped for Christian living and service."
Rev. Dr. Kwame Bediako, Director, Akrofi-Christaller Centre, Akropong Akwapim
"GHAFES Conferences have provided great inspiration for all seeking to appreciate the nature of God's calling ... in our society."
Christopher Zuttah, an Educationist
"GHAFES programmes offered me the opportunity to acquire what 12 years of active church membership could not offer me, that is, leadership training."
Rev. Cdr. P.F. Quaye, Former Field Director, World Vision (Gh)
"GHAFES conferences are strategic in the ministry of the church. As a result of these, GHAFES has been able to provide the country with the kind of Christian leadership that is so urgently needed in our land."
Mrs. Agnes Philips(Executive Assistance to the National Director World Vision)
"God used GHAFES to ground me in the faith as a student. The Saturday evening talks gave me a solid point of reference in my Christian walk".
Dr. Mrs. Akosua Perbi (Head of History Department, University of Ghana)
"SU is my grandma, GHAFES is my Mom. I joined GHAFES in 1971 and met all my friends in GHAFES including my husband. These friends have been my source of support and encouragement all these years. What we have are lifetime friendships. I rejoice greatly that I can continue to share in the joy of GHAFES' ministry as I continue to take part in the ministry to students"
Mr. Baba Mahama (CEO, Vanguard Assurance)
I have been associated with the Ghana Fellowship of Evangelical Students (GHAFES) over the last eighteen years: first as a student member at the University of Cape-Coast, and then in various capcities, as an Associate member.

GHAFES' input in my life by way of balanced doctrinal teaching, quality leadership training, and ecumenical exposure has contributed significantly in preparing me for the sometimes difficult terrain of the corporate market place where the locomotive of vigorous competition comes along with an excess baggage of stress, pressure, and the palpable possibility of being snowed under with the day-to-day minutiae of life to the detriment of the larger issues.

GHAFES has stood me in good stead in the corporate market place. First, the grounding in scripture has provided me with a comprehensive framework for handling, to the best of my conscience, the many challenging decisions, invariably tinged with moral and ethical connotations, which one has to make in business.

Second, in an evironment where one has to deal with people of all shades of religious, ethnic, and social backgrounds, the ecumenical upbringing has prepared me with the necessary social skills to accommodate these differences without sacrificing principles.

Over and above meeting and exceeding customer and shareholder expectations key ingredients in the wheels and deals of the market place the exposure at GHAFES has helped focus me on the ultimate perspective the day of reckoning before our Maker.

On the strength of the very solid benefits that have accrued to me through the vehicle of GHAFES, I will not hestitat to strongly recommend the fellowship to any Christian intent on 'knowing Christ and making Him known'.

"I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
John 8:12 (KJV)

Committed to equipping and empowering tertiary Christian students to be effective witnesses for Jesus Christ and be agents of change on their campuses, churches, communities, the Nation and beyond.
