We were in 10 communities in all and the programme run for about two (2) weeks from the 18th June - 2nd July 2007.

This year there were no brothers and sisters from Interervarsity Christian Fellowship,(Unites States of America). In all there were 50 GHAFES students that made us a strong force of soldiers of Christ to do exploits for the Lord.

The teams were involved in many kind of ministry outreaches like house to house evangelism, crusades, school and youth outreaches, market outreaches etc.

The amazing and refreshing thing was to see students leading their peers and teams in taking initiatives and drawing programmes and outreaches that meet the needs in their respective communities.

Result/ Impact.

At the end of the programme about 1,200 souls gave their lives to Christ and 200 rededications.

There were also awesome stories and reports out of some communities of deliverance and healing sessions, it is more so because it was a first time personal experiences for some of the Ghanaian students and particularly our American friends.

For this mission as most other missions the impact was "to build capacities of church leaderhip " in that apart from the impact in the communities the GHAFES teams in the communities were also impacted, most students end up discovering their ministries ,call and purpose, quite apart from this, participants level of maturity was tested and developed into Christ-likeness.

In all our opportunity and indeed the privilege to be part of this year's SICE can be expressed in the verse of Luke 17:10:-

"So you also when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, We are unworthy servants: we have only done our duty. "
